STC discuss the import of Swedish security doors.

Bulletproof, explosion protection and protection against electromagnetic interference. In addition to burglary protection, we also manufacture security doors that protect against bullets, explosions, electromagnetic interference (EMI), fire, fire gases, and noise. The doors are bulletproof in class FB4-FB6.

However, bullet and explosion protection is important at military facilities and other strategically important buildings. EMI suppression is needed in civilian and military facilities with sensitive equipment that must not be disturbed, such as hospitals, data centres, air traffic control centres, and radar facilities.

The performance of the properties of the security doors has been tested by RISE (formerly SP) and certified by RISE Certification and SBSC. Swedish companies have tested the bulletproof, and Fraunhofer Institut Freiburg performs explosion protection. RISE and SBSC carry out regular manufacturing inspections in the supplier’s factories.

Safety doors are available in stainless steel, corresponding to corrosively class C4. The design does not affect the fire, fire gas tightness, sound insulation or burglary properties of the door.
