SweAsia Trading (STC) was founded in 1982 by Pehr Olausson and Mats Kallmyr. Although STC has changed its name over the years, its original title was Swea Trading.

STC is a privately owned company committed to trading and supporting business connections by consulting (started in 1997) and finding new opportunities for suppliers and customers.

STC is today part of the Capacia Group. We focus on trading between Asia and EC countries, as we have a network of business partners in Asia.

Our mission within the consulting part is to promote modern sustainability and strategy to achieve business profitability while balancing the needs of our people and planet.

We are active in trading. During the coming year, we estimate an increase in trading business between Europe and Asia. We are continually looking for exciting products in the Asian market.

We were the first company that brought samples of those appliances to the Swedish market, for example;

• Electric toothbrush
• Attache suitcase in wood (niche market)
• Wine in a box (big success later on when the Swedish government approved private alcohol import)
• Foster Beer (big success later on when the Swedish government approved private alcohol import)

We also had a wholesale and B2C where we imported tropical ornamental live fish and plants for aquariums for several years.
